CARE GUIDES

Free delivery for all Australian orders over $60. A flat fee of $5 applies on orders from $30 to $59.99.

Your leather furniture and couches are exposed to possibilities of strains and dust. It is essential that you preserve your furniture’s good looks for as long as possible.

Chamberlain's Furniture Treatment No. 5 12oz (355ml), a milky, water-based leather furniture conditioner contains some remarkable leather enriching ingredients for your quality leather furniture items.

For leather furniture that is exposed often to spills, stains, and human touch, this recipe is the perfect solution to keeping your furniture leather looking healthy, supple and new. It contains oils that can be described as ‘lighter’ rather than ‘heavier’ oil types; and, because the recipe is water-based, it can also work as a mild leather cleaner.

You can use Furniture Treatment No. 5 leather furniture conditioner often, for a quick, effective, cleaning and revitalizing result to your home’s leather furniture.

Leaves a sheen

Good product. It did not leave my leather sofa the original "matte" finish as when bought and also after a good clean with Sapphir Renomat (which was exceptional at lifting oil, dirt and stains). Not sure what furniture product leaves leather leather unchanged.

Leather couch looks amazing!

Just finished cleaning my leather couch with Chamberlains Leather Milk (No. 5) and it looks amazing, almost like new! The product has a very subtle fragrance which is pleasant. I'll certainly be using this product again and looking forward to trying others. Thanks very much.

Sofa looks years younger

Thank you again for your great products.
As Christmas is coming and so are grandkids it is time to revitalise the old leather lounge.
I used Leather Care and with little effort it looks shiny and years younger.
Cheers
Anne

In the meantime, some general rules on leather care and protection.

1. Cleaning

Regular leather cleaning prevents the build-up of dust, dirt, mildew and bacteria. Use your clean fingertip to gently rub out the scratch as the natural oils from your skin will remove most small scratches. To remove dirt, grime or surface residue, use a soft damp cloth. Gently rub for removal. For a deeper clean, use a cleaner to help preserve the natural lubricating oils instead of stripping them. Cleaning is an irreversible process and therefore, thorough consideration should be made before any such attempt. Do not use coloured rags that are not dye-colourfast as the dye may come off onto your leather.

2. Maintaining

Leather, like our skins, loses suppleness in time if it is not provided with regular nourishment. Use a wax-free leather conditioner that will work on nourishing and restoring the flexibility and suppleness of your leather article. To waterproof your leather, protect it with a layer of "guard" while maintaining the leather's breathability.

3. Storage

Leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable, non-plastic or non-porous container, to prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. If you have to store it in a garment bag, make sure to keep it open for ventilation.

Avoid at all cost:
